Fastec Imaging, a manufacturer of high-speed cameras for industrial troubleshooting and
scientific applications has announced the launch of their new OEM Partner Program.
SAN DIEGO, CA December 3, 2018- The new program allows 3rd parties to leverage Fastec’s extensive expertise and existing IP in the development of innovative solutions for which high-speed imaging is a necessary albeit challenging component.
Fastec technology has been integrated into diverse systems from microfluidics to industrial machinery and instrumentation, allowing partner companies to dedicate their resources on their core strengths rather than the vagaries of high-speed sensor deployment, image transport, processing, and storage. This allows developers to embed high-speed camera technology into existing solutions, applications, or products without the extra burden of managing another challenging discipline.
Charles Mrdjenovich, CTO for Fastec Imaging explains, “Our development team has accumulated decades of experience in both engineering services and high-speed digital imaging. We can help with sensor selection and integration, electronic design, FPGA design, embedded systems, control applications and user interfaces, thereby facilitating faster time to market and lowering development costs.”
The new program allows for many levels of customization:
- Camera integration into an existing product
- Sensor integration for new product development
- Custom control interfaces via camera SDK
- High-speed camera re-branding
- Custom anodizing and laser engraving
